melody owen currently resides in portland, oregon (the heart of the beautiful pacific northwest). in the last two years since she returned from the east, she has been conducting a clinical analysis of the melodramatic. this study is concurrent with one in which she, with purely melodramatic intent, observes and engages the clinical. she will spend the next ten or twenty years documenting her findings and writing up a thesis.   the drawings presented here, relate obscurely to violence and death.      thank you.
